This suit set is the first look I developed for Shimmer in Shade. Because I knew I wanted these garments to be custom tailored, I spent two weeks working with my model to perfect the fit. I spent another two weeks on construction. Each piece began with a basic block and was adjusted for fit and design. After creating my first prototype I chose to forgo the piping on the sleeve to create a more streamlined silhouette.
